/02 ADAIR FAMILY
This is Madison. She's the superhero, powerhouse, manager of all things Adair! She's your point person every step of the way. Always going above and beyond, she holds each couple's hand through the planning process. Her priority is for each couple to have as smooth of an experience as possible. Through the stress of wedding planning, she's your girl. Everyone needs a Madison in their life! Madison is also a wife, mother of two young kids, and was born and raised in Cincy.
This is Bethany. She is incredibly talented at every aspect of her job. To her, the ins and outs of calmly and joyfully running a wedding day come second nature. Bethany has photographed hundreds of couples, so her instincts are honed in, to say the least. Not to mention her impressive technical skills. Bethany's talent in guiding even the most nervous couples to look and feel their best, is an amazing blend of honed experience and natural gift. Bethany makes couples feel seen and calm. And she's SO MUCH FUN to be with! Bethany is also mother of a toddler, travels regularly, and a coffee lover to her core! Not to mention, she loves to go camping with her family...in tents! (Yes, she's the brave one of the group)
This is Kenyatta. After she discovered her passion for photographing couples, it didn't take long until her talent and hard work made way for her to say goodbye to the 9-5 in accounting to pursue photography. We're so grateful she did! Kenyatta's talents include being a master of helping couples bring their unique vision to life, along with an immense amount of creativity. This is highlighted by the fact that she's an amazing listener, which makes her a dynamic storyteller. Somehow, she's able to translate her couple's stories and personalities into photos. Once you meet Kenyatta, you'll feel like you've been friends for years. Her favorite people in the world are her husband and three boys. And of course her plants!
This is Amanda. One thing you'll find is that no matter where you are with her, you’ll have a blast. She's incredibly artistic, and a constant learner. Professionally, Amanda has been a bank manager and a tech store manager, and has travelled as a guest of Nikon to NYC for new product demos and training. Amanda also has a husband and two young kids, and is passionate about photographing couples. On a wedding day, she will observe everything, and frame it beautifully in her lens. Maybe one of the best of all her talents, she has a way of helping you feel like you’re not being photographed. You’ll see candid photos she took, and think “when was that?!”
This is Katie. She's a videographer, a ruthless boxer, and a mom of two. She's probably one of the coolest people you'll meet. Getting to know her and her stories, you'll love her even more!
The best thing about having a videographer who's already a part of your photography team is knowing that our workflows will always be synced up (and we're already friends, so that helps!) which makes for a better experience for you.

I am Rachel. I have a few specific objectives for Adair:
1. Free up the creative energy of photographers. Removing the "back end" work of running a business, so that we can invest in couples and create art.
2. Documenting weddings in a true-to-life manner. Crisp, clean and vibrant. So that as years go by, couples can go back to their photographs, and be transported clearly to the way they felt on that day.
Some facts about me!
- Favorite drink: cappuccino in a mug, por favor
- Favorite treat: a fresh, warm donut. We live 5 minutes from Holtman's, so we time our visits for optimum freshness!
- I'm a nerd for scents! My favorites are Black Opium by YSL (for fall and winter), L'Occitane Terre de Lumiere (for spring) and Pink Canyon by Skylar (for summer)
- My husband and I have two amazing little kids!
- I love camper-camping with my family. Just no tents. That's for brave people like Bethany
- I've been a gardener for 9 years. First when our landlord let us have a garden behind our building, then when we moved to our forever home. Mostly I grow edible gardens, but I've ventured into adding flowers the last few years!
- I believe in using the nice plates and burning the candles. Whether we're together or alone, savoring Tuesday's leftovers. Every day is worth celebrating.

a heart for couples & an eye for genuine moments
It's 2021, there are a ton of people who can take gorgeous photos. What makes our team different? The group has grown slowly through the years, and when selecting women to join the team, many factors were considered. Most important was how they care for people.
It's relatively easy to sense when someone has a genuine heart and amazing personality, but mixing that with technical know-how and a similar style can be difficult to find. Each photographer has many years of experience, and is trained by Rachel in the Adair style and techniques, specifically in lighting.
After your wedding, your photos are edited in the same signature style: crisp, clean, vibrant, and true-to-life.
WHAT MAKES AN ADAIR PHOTOGRAPHER?
MORE ABOUT THE TEAM
The mission of Adair is to serve couples with photographers who are fully invested. Adair has been intentionally
structured to allow our photographers to have maximum creative flow.
For an artist, running a business can be a big hinderance to creativity.
Taking out the business aspect for our photographers allows them to do what fills their hearts:
Investing in couples & Making art
Photography has been a passion since learning with my dad's old film camera as a child. At that time, wildlife photography was my dream, and I still have a passion for it. When I had the surprise honor of photographing my sister's wedding at the last minute, something clicked. I knew this was the profession I was made for.
Within a few months, I was doing all I could to make sure I would someday become a full-time wedding photographer. Lots of working for free, apprenticing other local photographers, and consuming every book and piece of training. Slowly, the dream became reality.
The magic part is that even after photographing hundreds of weddings, the spark hasn't faded, and I have this amazing team to thank for that. Madison, Kenyatta, Amanda, Bethany, Katie, one by one joined in the Adair team and slowly we grew together. These women are my friends and teammates. We share an art, a craft, and a passion that allows us to serve each other and the couples we have the blessing of knowing.
Our couples are the heartbeat of Adair. I am so thankful to the couples who have entrusted us to capture their weddings in the past. Each wedding holds special memories and relationships that fill my heart with gratitude.
